Tata Hexa now available with discounts up to Rs 2.3 lakh

With 2019 coming to an end, Tata dealers are offering discounts on the current flagship SUV – the Hexa. This month, the Hexa can be had with discounts and benefits worth up to Rs 2.3 lakh, depending on the variant selected. Tata hopes to clear stocks of the Hexa with these discounts, as the model is slated to be discontinued in 2020.

Mechanically, the Hexa comes with a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder diesel motor in two states of tune. The lower tune puts out 150hp and 320Nm of torque while the higher tune churns out 156hp and 400Nm of torque. In terms of gearbox options, there is both a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque-converter automatic on offer.

On the inside, the crossover SUV comes well-kitted as the top-spec XT models get a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto support, a 10-speaker JBL sound system, leather seats, automatic headlights and wipers, a coloured MID in the instrument cluster and a cooled glove box, among other features.

The Tata Gravitas will replace the Hexa as the brand’s new flagship model when it arrives in February 2020. The upcoming seven-seat SUV, which is based on the Tata Harrier, will rival the Mahindra XUV500 (a new-gen model is coming mid-2020) as well as the yet-to-arrive, six-seat MG Hector.

Disclaimer: Discounts vary from city to city. Please check with your local dealer for exact discounts, which may not match figures quoted here.
