After the C-class facelift last month, Mercedes-Benz has now introduced the facelifted version of the C 300 Cabriolet at Rs 65.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Exterior changes mirror those seen on the C-class sedan, so you now get LED headlights and tail-lights, a redesigned front bumper, new designs for the 17-inch alloy wheels and three new paint options.
Inside, the C 300 Cabriolet facelift features a 10.25-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, a new steering wheel with dual touchpad controls and the option of a brown, open-pore walnut wood trim. And like before, there are a number of options to choose from when it comes to the interior colour scheme, and four different colours for the roof, too.
The big change with the C 300 Cabriolet facelift is under the bonnet. It now gets a BS-VI-compliant, 2.0-litre petrol engine making 258hp (13hp more than before) and 370Nm of torque, which is mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. The C300 Cabriolet facelift does 0-100kph in a claimed 6.2sec (0.2sec quicker than the pre-facelift model) and goes on to a top speed of 250kph.
As such, there are no rivals to the Mercedes-Benz C 300 Cabriolet. At this price, it sits well clear of the smaller Audi A3 Cabriolet, which is priced at Rs 50.35 lakh (ex-showroom).
