Royal Enfield has launched a new programme called ‘Ride Sure’ for its customers. 'Ride Sure' is available in three packs – Basic, Basic Plus and Premium – and cost between Rs 2,150 and Rs 6,600, depending on your bike model. According to dealers we spoke to, the Ride Sure programme is applicable on all models of the Royal Enfield range except for the 650 Twins.
Here’s what the individual packs offer. The Basic package offers an extended warranty – up from 3 years/30,000km to 4 years/50,000km. Basic Plus gives customers the same and the addition of a Roadside Assistance (RSA) option for four years. Premium, meanwhile, includes an extended warranty, RSA and free replacement of brake pads, accelerator cables and clutch cables as well.
Dealers have told us that the costs vary depending on model and that the Basic package costs Rs 2,150 on the 350cc range and Rs 2,650 on the 500cc range. The Basic Plus will set you back Rs 3,100 for the 350s and Rs 3,650 for the 500s. Premium, meanwhile, costs Rs 5,300 and Rs 5,900. Do note, costs for the same may vary from city to city.
