Over Rs 2 lakh off on Jeep Compass in December 2019

Like every other carmaker, Jeep India is also preparing to make room for its 2020 models and has rolled out rather large benefits and year-end discounts to push sales of older stock.

The highest level of benefits – up to Rs 2.10 lakh – is available on the top-spec Compass Limited (O) petrol-automatic, while the lower-spec Longitude (O) petrol-automatic now gets up to Rs 1.30 lakh off.

The entry-level petrol Compass Sport gets a 6-speed manual, while all other petrol variants get a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox as standard with the 163hp, 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine.

The diesel Compass, in the mid-spec Sport Plus and Longitude (O) variants, is now available with benefits worth Rs 1.05 lakh and Rs 55,000, respectively. Both get the same 173hp, 2.0-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed manual as standard. Unlike the top-spec Limited and Limited (O) variants, which do not get any benefits or discounts this month, there's no 4WD option on offer.

For the first time, the Compass Trailhawk is officially available with benefits including a Rs 35,000 exchange bonus. The only BS6-compliant model available right now, the Compass Trailhawk, tops the range and is also the only version of the SUV that gets a diesel-automatic combination.

Jeep India is working on bringing a 7-seat derivative of the Compass to India, though it won’t arrive any time before 2021.

Disclaimer: Discounts vary from city to city. Please check with your local dealer for exact discounts, which may not match figures quoted here.
