What are you driving and why?
An F80 BMW M3 because it’s a pure driver’s car. With power going to the rear wheels and a limited slip differential it’s a hoot, both on and off the track.
What’s next on your wish list?
A Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
The most fun you’ve had in a car?
Setting a 2min 15.9sec lap time in my M3 at Speed Fest 2019 at the BIC.
Dream money-no-object car?
The McLaren F1. With its 6.1-litre V12, under 1,200kg kerb weight, and a 6-speed manual box , in my eyes, it’s the greatest supercar ever built.
Who is your all-time greatest motorsport hero?
The king of the rain - Ayrton Senna; one of the greatest F1 drivers of all time.
Favourite road?
The drive up to the Ebisu Circuit in Japan. The mountain roads are perfectly paved for drifting.
What’s on your automotive bucket list?
Drive my own car at the Nürburgring, take part in an endurance event, and watch my daughter race and build her own project car.
What would you do with your last litre of fuel?
Give half of it to a friend and drag-race down an open road till we run dry.
Your ideal five-car garage would be?
1. McLaren F1
2. Porsche 911 GT2 RS
3. BMW E46 M3 CSL
4. Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8 (Type 964)
5. 1986 Mercedes-AMG Hammer
What was your first Car?
A 1999 Ford Escort 1.6 16v petrol that was gifted to me on my 18th birthday by my grandmother.
