Vincent Cobee to join Citroen as Deputy CEO

Putting an end to rumours, Citroen has clarified that Linda Jackson will continue in her role as CEO of the company, and former Mitsubishi production head Vincent Cobee will join as deputy CEO and will oversee the brand's international operations.

A previous report suggested that Jackson would be replaced by Cobee, who held previous roles at Nissan and was Mitsubishi’s head of production until April, when a management reshuffle took place within the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance in the wake of CEO Carlos Ghosn’s arrest.

Meanwhile in India, Citroen is gearing up to launch its first product for our market, the C5 Aircross, by September 2020. The French carmaker has tied up with ALD Automotive to create 'Citroen Lease', a lease service for customers, and has confirmed it will be bringing its  new ‘La Maison’ dealership format here. While the C5 Aircross will be positioned as a flagship product, Citroen is working on launching a compact SUV by 2021 and a Creta-rivalling midsize SUV by 2022.
