Massive discounts available this festive season

With the market on a slowdown and with the festive season just around the corner, manufacturers have extended some hot discounts on their models. We compile a list for you.

Discounts of Rs 10 lakh and above

BMW 730Ld (Pre-facelift) [Rs 1.22 - 1.35 crore]

Up to Rs 18 lakh off

 

The 7 Series cars feature cutting-edge tech, luxurious cabin and a long list of features. Pre-facelift versions of the 7 Series are now being offered at discounts of around Rs 18 lakh, depending on stocks.

Mercedes Benz S 350d [Rs 1.36 crore]

Up to Rs 15 lakh off

 

Mercedes’ flagship sedan gets a 286hp, 3.0-litre diesel engine, plush interiors and a lot of tech.  Dealers are offering discounts of around Rs 15 lakh on the S 350d, depending on availability.

Audi Q5 [Rs 55.80 - 60.50 lakh]

Up to Rs 12 lakh off

 

The latest Q5 is up on comfort and has a decent set of engines. It features a spacious cabin, and
offers a good ride and handling balance. The SUV is being offered with massive discounts of around Rs 12 lakh.

BMW 630d GT [Rs 68.90 - 73.90 lakh]

Up to Rs 12 lakh off

 

The 6 Series is a roomy and luxurious alternative to the 5, but it doesn’t drive as sharp and its styling isn’t as streamlined. While the 630d GT is available with a discount of around Rs 12 lakh, the 620d GT also gets attractive benefits.

Land Rover Discovery Sport [Rs 44.67 - 61.94 lakh]

Up to Rs 12 lakh off

 

This handsome-looking SUV has some serious off-road tech and also provides a supple ride on city roads. The model has a decent features list too.  Buyers can avail discounts and benefits of up to Rs 12 lakh are on offer.

Audi A6 (Previous gen) [Rs 50.01 - 51.01 lakh]

Up to Rs 12 lakh off

 

The outgoing Audi A6 comes with powerful petrol and diesel engines, and a decent equipment list. It feels a bit outdated when compared to rivals but the discounts of up to Rs 12 lakh, make it an attractive proposition.

Mercedes GLC [Rs 50.69 - 56.84 lakh]

Up to Rs 12 lakh off

 

The GLC comes with a modern and functional cabin. The model, however, is not as engaging to drive. Discounts and benefits of up to Rs 12 lakh are available on select 2018 stock. The GLC rivals the Q5, X3 and the XC60 in India.

BMW 530i [Rs 59.20 lakh]

Up to Rs 10 lakh off

 

The current 5 Series is more driver-focused than its predecessor, and its 252hp, 2.0-litre turbocharged mill is quite punchy. It gets lots of comfort features and gizmos like remote parking, for example.  Big discounts of around Rs 10 lakh are being offered.

BMW 320d (Previous gen) [Rs 39.80 - 45.80 lakh]

Up to Rs 10 lakh off

 

The now-discontinued previous-gen BMW 3 Series is an exciting car to drive. The 320i petrol is being offered with discounts and benefits of around Rs 10 lakh.

Discounts between Rs 5-10 lakh

 

Mercedes C-class [Rs 40.10 - 49.75 lakh]

Up to Rs 5.5 lakh off

 

The current-gen C-class is a strong rival to the 3 Series and Jaguar XE. In order to push sales, a few variants are available with discounts of Rs 5.5 lakh.

BMW X1 [Rs 35.20 - 45.70 lakh]

Up to Rs 5 lakh off

 

The X1 rivals the GLC and the XC60 and comes with powerful petrol and diesel engines. Dealers have extended discounts of up to Rs 5 lakh on the current model.

Honda CR-V [Rs 28.27 - 32.77 lakh]

Up to Rs 4.25 lakh off

 

The CR-V comes with the option of a 1.6-litre diesel or a 2.0-litre petrol. Two seat layout options are available, depending on engine. Big discounts of  up to Rs 4.25 lakh are on offer on the flagship Honda SUV.

Skoda Kodiaq L&K [Rs 36.79 lakh]

Up to Rs 3.5 lakh off

 

The Kodiaq comes with well-finished interiors and a spacious cabin that can seat five. It is a bit pricey for what it offers, but you can buy the top-spec trim at a discount of up to Rs 3.5 lakh.

Discounts between Rs 1-5 lakh

BMW X5 [Rs 72.90 - 82.40 lakh]

Up to Rs 2.5 lakh off

 

The new X5 has grown in both size and the breadth of its abilities but is priced higher too. BMW’s newest SUV in India can be had with benefits of up to Rs 2.5 lakh at some locations.

Honda Civic diesel [Rs 20.55 - 22.35 lakh]

Up to Rs 2.5 lakh off

 

The Civic made a comeback in India earlier this year and, for the first time, offers the option of a diesel engine. There is no automatic gearbox in the line-up. However, the model is available at an attractive Rs 2.5 lakh discount.

Hyundai Elantra [Rs 13.82 - 20.05 lakh]

Up to Rs 2 lakh off

 

Except for minor feature additions, the Elantra has been on sale in India in its current avatar since 2016. Set to be updated soon, the current-gen is being offered with discounts of up to Rs 2.05 lakh.

Ford Endeavour [Rs 28.20 - 33.70 lakh]

Up to Rs 2 lakh off

 

The recent Endeavour facefilt packs a lot of features, punchy diesel engines and decent off road tech. Ford’s rival to the Fortuner is available at discounts and benefits of around Rs 2 lakh at most locations.

Toyota Corolla Altis [Rs 16.45 - 20.19 lakh]

Up to Rs 1.75  lakh off

 

The Corolla Altis is well-known for its supple ride and back-seat comfort. It comes with a 140hp, 1.8-litre petrol and an 88hp, 1.4-litre diesel engine. Discounts up to Rs 1,75,000 are on offer on the Corolla Altis.

Hyundai Grand i10 [Rs 5.02 - 7.63 lakh]

Up to Rs 1.15 lakh off

 

The Grand i10 is now a petrol-only model and is available with discounts of up to Rs 1.15 lakh. The competitor to Maruti Suzuki Swift and Ford Figo also gets the option of a CNG variant.

Maruti Suzuki S-Cross [Rs 8.86 - 11.49 lakh]

Up to Rs 1.3 lakh off

 

Potential new S-cross buyers can now get benefits as high as a whopping Rs 1.3 lakh. Maruti will soon add a new petrol engine option – the same BS6-compliant 1.5-litre (K15B) motor used in the Ertiga and the Ciaz.

Renault Captur [Rs 9.50 - 12.99 lakh]

Up to Rs 1.10 lakh off

 

The Captur gives you a choice between a 106hp petrol and a 110hp diesel. The SUV, however, lacks the option of an automatic. The model can be had with discounts of up to Rs 1.10 lakh, depending on stock.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza [Rs 7.68 - 10.65 lakh]

Up to Rs 1.10 lakh off

 

Maruti’s popular SUV is available with benefits and discounts of around Rs 1.1 lakh. The model will get a facelift next year along with a new petrol engine. The diesel-powered Vitara Brezza will go off the shelf from April 2020.
