Discounts of up to Rs 4 lakh available on Honda cars and SUVs

Honda dealerships across the country are offering significant discounts and benefits on various models in its portfolio. The benefits also include deals on extended warranty, insurance and accessories. Here’s a look at the discounts on offer.

Honda CR-V

Save up to Rs 4 lakh
The fifth-generation Honda CR-V was brought to India last year, and dealerships are offering cash discounts of Rs 4 lakh on all diesel variants. The seven-seater SUV hasn’t been on the top of sales charts and the heavy discounts are an attempt to boost its sales in a slumping market. The diesel CR-V is powered by a 120hp, 1.6-litre engine paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox. It is offered with either two-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. There’s also a 154hp, 2.0-litre petrol engine with a CVT automatic on offer.

Honda BR-V

Save up to Rs 1.2 lakh
The BR-V is yet another seven-seat SUV from the Honda stable, albeit at an affordable price. However it does lack the rugged SUV appeal and closely resembles an MPV. Its USP is the space and practicality associated with a seven-seater. The Honda BR-V's engine options include a 119hp, 1.5-litre petrol and a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel, both of which provide a decent driving experience. Dealerships are offering benefits of up to 1.20 lakh across all variants of the model.

Honda Civic

Save up to Rs 85,000
The 10th-generation Honda Civic sedan is offered with 141hp, 1.8-litre petrol engine with a CVT auto or a 120hp, 1.6-litre diesel with a 6-speed manual transmission. The petrol-CVT combination is nice and smooth while the diesel-manual – although not that powerful – is refined and efficient. It rivals the Hyundai Elantra and the Skoda Octavia, and you can avail benefits of up to Rs 85,000.

Honda City

Save up to Rs 70,000
Honda’s popular City sedan is still a tough competitor in the midsize sedan segment. It gets good amount of equipment, is spacious and also comfortable. The 119hp, 1.5-litre petrol provides good performance and the 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel although noisy, is efficient. While some of the top-end Honda City trims are pricey, benefits of up to Rs 70,000 are being offered across all variants.

Honda Jazz

Save up to Rs 60,000
In the premium hatchback segment, the Honda Jazz is the most spacious car among its competitors – which comprise the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20 and the Toyota Glanza. It is offered with a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol and a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine, with the petrol getting the option of a CVT automatic. The petrol-automatic powertrain offers a smooth driving experience and the car scores high on practicality. Benefits of up to Rs 60,000 can be availed on all its variants.

Honda WR-V

Save up to Rs 55,000
Being a jacked-up version of the Jazz, the Honda WR-V cross-hatch shares its powertrains with the former. It gets SUV styling elements, a retuned suspension setup and some added features. There is, however, no CVT on offer in the petrol variants. The petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual and the diesel motor gets a 6-speed manual transmission. It gets discounts of up to Rs 55,000 across all its variants in the month of September.

Honda Amaze

Save up to Rs 53,000
The second generation of the Honda Amaze compact sedan was launched last year and has been a strong seller for Honda. It is offered with the choice of either a 90hp 1.2-litre petrol engine that’s paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox, or a 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 100hp with the 5-speed manual and 80hp with the CVT gearbox option. However, the automatic variants are not offered in the top-end variants, which might be a downer for some of the buyers. Honda is offering benefits of up to Rs 53,000 on this model, including maintenance programs and an extended warranty.
