Big discounts on Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Swift, Dzire, Celerio

With a slump in car sales over the last few months, Maruti Suzuki is offering some enticing benefits and discounts at its Arena dealerships for the month of August 2019 in a bid to provide a fillip to sales. The Arena dealers are offering discounts and benefits of up to Rs 60,000 on select models in stock at dealerships across India. Here is a look at the benefits you can avail.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio
Benefits up to Rs 60,000

Maruti’s budget hatchback is being offered with discounts of up to Rs 60,000 for the factory-fit CNG model. The standard petrol-manual and petrol-AMT units, on the other hand, are being offered with benefits of up to Rs 55,000. A rival to the likes of the Tata Tiago and Hyundai Santro, the Celerio is offered with the brand’s 1.0-litre three-cylinder K10 petrol motor that is good for 68hp and 90Nm of torque. The CNG variant develops a lower 59hp and 78Nm of torque.

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10
Benefits up to Rs 55,000

The more powerful iteration of Maruti’s long-standing bestseller, the Alto K10 shares its engine with the Celerio and can be had either as in petrol-manual, petrol-AMT or CNG guise. Dealers are offering benefits of up to Rs 55,000 for the AMT variants with the petrol-manual and CNG models available with discounts of up to Rs 50,000.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Benefits up to Rs 55,000

Now into its third generation, the Dzire has cemented itself as the segment bestseller with sales figures keeping in within the top five most-sold models in the country every month. Maruti is offering benefits of up to Rs 55,000 across all models of the compact sedan, offered with a choice of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol unit in question is the tried-and-tested 83hp, 1.2-litre K12 unit albeit now upgraded to comply with the upcoming BS6 emission norms. The diesel engine in question is the familiar Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre diesel engine in its less powerful 75hp and 190Nm state of tune. Both engines are paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki Swift
Benefits up to Rs 50,000

Maruti’s rival to the Hyundai Grand i10 and Ford Figo, the Swift can be had with benefits of up to Rs 50,000 for across all diesel variants and the base LXi petrol trim. The higher petrol trims are being offered with benefits of up to Rs 40,000. The Swift shares its engine and gearbox options with its sibling, the Dzire.

Maruti Suzuki Alto
Benefits up to Rs 45,000

Maruti’s entry-level hatchback, the Alto, underwent a round of updates earlier in the year that saw the introduction of a BS6-compliant engine and revised styling and equipment to comply with safety norms either currently in effect or set to come into effect in the coming months. The update also saw Maruti drop the '800' nomenclature from the hatchback’s name. The Alto is available with benefits of up to Rs 45,000 across all models.

Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza
Benefits up to Rs 45,000

Maruti’s first sub-four-metre SUV, the Brezza rivals the likes of the new Hyundai Venue, Ford EcoSport and the Tata Nexon. Maruti is offering discounts and benefits worth Rs 45,000 across all variants of the compact SUV. Unlike its rivals, the Brezza can be had with a sole 1.3-litre diesel engine good for 90hp and 200Nm of torque paired with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki Eeco
Benefits up to Rs 30,000

Maruti’s budget people-mover, the Eeco has been on sale for a long time but remains popular amongst fleet and taxi operators. Maruti updated the ageing van earlier in the year with more safety kit to meet the norms that came into effect in the past few months. Dealers are offering benefits of up to Rs 30,000 on the CNG models with the petrol getting discounts of up to Rs 25,000.

Maruti Suzuki Wagon R
Benefits up to Rs 20,000

It was only earlier in the year that Maruti launched the new Wagon R. The new model is based on a new platform and is offered with a choice of two petrol engines – the 1.0-litre K10 on the lower and mid trim levels and the more powerful 1.2-litre K12 unit on the mid and top trim levels. Also available is a factory-fit CNG variant with the 1.0-litre petrol unit. Dealers are offering benefits of up to Rs 20,000 across all variants of the tall-boy hatchback.
