In terms of appearance, the updated Duster gets a new front grille with chrome garnish, projector headlamps with LED DRLs, a new sculpted bonnet and a higher bonnet line (raised to meet pedestrian-protection norms), a redesigned front bumper, front and rear skid plates, roof rails, alloys and plastic cladding on the tailgate.
Changes inside the cabin include a new steering wheel, an upgraded infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, rectangular AC vents on the centre console, a faux-aluminium trim, chrome and gloss-black bits and a dash insert that’s the same colour as the exterior. Standard safety kit on the Duster includes dual airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist. Additionally, the automatic and AWD variants get ESC and hill-start functionality.
The Duster is also available in a new blue exterior paint shade. Key rivals to the SUV include the Hyundai Creta, the Nissan Kicks and the Maruti Suzuki S-cross. The carmaker is also gearing up for the launch of the Triber seven-seater in the coming months.
