Problems with the Maruti Ciaz's AC unit

My 2017 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz AT Alpha has, for the past few months, been giving me a bad odour from
the AC. Maruti Suzuki hasn’t been of any help, as even though the service team acknowledges the
issue, the QC team doesn’t.

AAA The automatic climate control has a tendency to switch off the air recirculation mode to maintain the set temperature effectively and to control carbon dioxide build up in the car. When this happens, outside air enters the cabin. As the filter isn’t able to block 100 percent of the outside pollutants, regular use of the AC with air recirculation off clogs the filters. This leads to a smelly cabin and ineffective filtration of outside air.

The solution to this is to replace the AC filter and, henceforth, manually switch on air recirculation mode every time after setting the desired temperature.
