Ford Ranger Storm concept unveiled

Ford is set to unveil the Ranger Storm SUV at the upcoming Sao Paulo International Motor Show 2018. The Ford Ranger Storm shares its underpinnings with the Endeavour SUV that is sold in India.

The model that has been revealed is currently in concept form. However, a production version is possible in near future. The Ranger Storm concept mimics the upgrades that were seen on the EcoSport Storm which is already on sale in a few international markets.

The Ranger Storm gets an upgraded suspension setup, unique alloy wheels with all-terrain tyres, rugged body cladding all around, a custom exterior paint, roof rails and other cosmetic bits that gives the truck a more muscular stance. Ford has also given the concept a unique grille with Storm lettering, which adds to its brawny appearance.

Under the bonnet of the Ranger Storm concept is a 3.2-litre diesel mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox, which sends power to all four wheels.

Let us know in the comments below if you think Ford should bring the Ranger pickup to India to rival the likes of the Isuzu D-Max V-Cross.
