We have managed to source the latest on-road price list for Suzuki’s scooters and bikes. If you aren’t already aware, the government has recently instituted a law that requires all new two-wheelers sold after September 1 2018 to have a five-year cover of third-party insurance. This has led to a significant rise in the insurance cost, hence in on-road price tags.
Going by this, the price for Suzuki’s latest entrant, the Burgman Street 125 now costs Rs 88,000, on-road in Mumbai. The company’s most popular model, the Access (top-spec) is now up by Rs 5,000, taking the on-road cost to Rs 78,000. However, the biggest price hikes can be seen on the Intruder. The price for the carburetted model now sits at Rs 1.29 lakh, up from Rs 1.13 lakh. Meanwhile, the fuel-injected Intruder’s price has now reached Rs 1.36 lakh, from Rs 1.26 lakh.
